Leaders are Readers

At Outdoor Education for All, we believe that reading is a crucial habit for leaders, educators, and anyone who visits the outdoors regularly. Few experiences rival having your feet up on your pack with a warm drink in one hand, your favorite nature inspired book in the other after a long day on the trail, on the river, or in the snow. Our members have suggested the following books as methods of celebrating our natural resources, advocating for their protection, and enjoying the tales of those who have explored far and wide.

"When I am in need of grounding, of a reminder of my resilience, or a glimpse at wisdom from nature, I open Wilderness Wisdom and soak in its warm pages - I always feel better after a brush with nature.” - Scott Amick, OEFA Coordinator
