CHICO AREA RECREATION & PARK DISTRICT
The Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD) provides quality recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities in the Chico community. From small children to mature adults, their programs cover different areas including adaptive, aquatics, athletics, dance and more. CARD also coordinates after school programs, field trips, and day or overnight trips and tours.

EARTHBOUND SKILLS
Their programs are deeply influenced by Native American culture, rooted in an intimate connection to the earth. Earthbound skills offer unique programs that teach survival skills, are customized to meet your needs, and are provided at schools or outdoor field trips sites.

FOREBAY AQUATIC EDUCATION CENTER
Using Common Core standards, design experiences around your education focus. Day field trips, overnight camping, water safety education, and on-the-water boating activities, team building, non-competitive games and off-site adventure programming. Some transportation scholarships may be available.

GATEWAY MOUNTAIN CENTER
Aligned with Common Core, Next Generations Science Standards (NGSS), STEM principles, CrossCutting Concepts and science/engineering practices, the Gateway Mountain Center offers therapeutic wellness programs, field trips, and summer camps for youth of all backgrounds. They serve over 1,000 students annually and customize their programs to meet students’ goals, needs and challenges. They assist youth with transforming their self-awareness through connections with nature, self, and community.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL LAND TRUST
Offering professional development for educators and young adults, as well as classroom activities and field trips for K-12 students integrating NGSS standards. Emphasis in conservation, ecology, and management of working and wild land resources. Programs available in Spanish.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA BALLET
Since 1983, the Northern California Ballet has produced a number of ballet classics such as Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Cinderella. They provide a healthy learning environment for students to develop a love of dance, proper technique and all of the foundation skills and knowledge necessary to pursue their careers.

NORTHERN VALLEY HOCKEY & SPORTS COMPLEX
The North Valley Hockey & Sports Complex is an inline roller hockey located in Hamilton City, California. They offer inline hockey leagues for youth and adults, skate lessons and summer sport camps. Their large facility has multiple uses such as open skating, lacrosse, basketball, soccer, pickleball, badminton, volleyball, roller derby, broomball, birthday parties, school events and private parties.
